The Council for the Indian School Certificate (CISCE) is committed to providing students with a holistic and high-quality education for their overall well-being, empowering them with enlightened learning. As a premier National Examination Board, CISCE conducts the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Examination for Class X, the Indian School Certificate (ISC) for Class XII and the Certificate of Vocational Education Examination (CVE) for Class XII.
The Council endeavours excellence in education by being child-centric, offering students experiential learning, inculcating values needed in today’s modern society and preparing students for diverse career paths.
The curriculum aims to enable children to:
- Become lifelong successful learners and successfully apply core concepts learnt from various subjects
- Intersperse thoughts and ideas effectively using oral, written and non-verbal communication skills in a variety of forms and contexts
- Use technology to access and provide information and to communicate with others
