The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examination expects all candidates to take up six subjects with Group 1, Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) and Community Service as mandatory subjects.
Note: Students who opt for Economics in Group 2 cannot opt for Economic Applications in Group 3.
The Indian School Certificate (ISC) examination expects all candidates to take a maximum of six subjects. They can opt for English (compulsory) and five other elective subjects with Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) and Community Services which are mandatory courses.
The CISCE offers a range of subjects. The comprehensive and bifurcated syllabus in ISC caters to the prerequisites of competitive examinations and undergraduate courses.
